Materials, honestly: leather, oak and bronze

Marcus LindqvistApril 3, 20265 min read

We are drawn to materials that improve with use. Leather that softens. Oak that warms. Bronze that earns a patina no factory can fake. Honesty, for us, is letting a material do what it naturally wants to do.

The long view

It would be cheaper to coat everything in a finish that never changes. It would also be a lie. We choose the harder path: materials that live alongside you and record the years gracefully.

A patina is not wear. It is a life, written in the surface.
